From Paris :

Take the A10 motorway direction Bordeaux, Palaiseau, Etampes, Nantes, Longjumeau.
Next take the A11 motorway direction Ablis, Chartres, Le Mans, Rennes.
Take exit 22, direction A811 motorway, Bordeaux, Ste Luce sur Loire, Thouaré sur Loire, Nantes Centre, Carquefou.
Then follow signs for Nantes Centre Ville, Château (Castle), and Cathédrale (Cathedral)

From Bordeaux :

Take the A10 motorway, direction Saintes, Royan, Nantes, Paris, A83 Angers Nantes, then head for Nantes Centre Ville, Château, Cathédrale

Nantes Train Station – Exit North
Follow the tramway line direction town centre (on your left),
Turn right at the street corner after “LA LOCO” restaurant, go along the street (with the Dukes of Brittany Castle behind you), as far as the foot of the St Pierre Square steps.
